Partners In Ministry’s Upward Bound students continued their college exploration journey with a visit to North Carolina Central University (NCCU) in Durham, North Carolina. The trip gave students an opportunity to explore another college campus, learn about the college experience, and envision their futures as college students.

As students explored NCCU, they had the chance to see what makes the university a unique place to learn, grow, and prepare for their future careers. College tours are an important part of the Upward Bound experience because they help students become more familiar with higher education, consider their college options, and set goals for life after high school.

Through experiences like this, Partners In Ministry’s Upward Bound program continues to encourage students to pursue academic excellence, explore new opportunities, and believe in their ability to succeed.

Every campus visit brings our students one step closer to turning their college dreams into reality!
